
Martha de la Garza, CPA Enforcement Supervisor
Martha, born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, has dedicated nearly 30 years of service to the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. She worked as a Field Enforcement Officer for 22 years and currently supervises the State Comptroller’s field offices in both Brownsville and McAllen. A proud advocate for her community, Martha is actively involved in local initiatives, tirelessly striving to positively impact the lives of those around her.
She is a ~15 year member of the Mr. Amigo Association, an organization that celebrates the friendship and culture of both the United States and Mexico during the yearly Charro Days festivities. Most recently, having served as the Executive Board President.
With a career rooted in dedication and a heart for service, Martha exemplifies what it means to give back to her community.
